The Self-Funded Search Conference
September 30 @ 8:00 am - October 1 @ 5:00 pm
The Self-Funded Search Conference is the inaugural and exclusive conference dedicated to the self-funded search model of entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA). Hosted annually by the Self-Funded Search Association (SFSA), a not-for-profit organization, this event is a beacon for individuals aiming to purchase a company through the self-funded path of ETA.
As a not-for-profit event, all proceeds from the conference are reinvested to maximize the value for attendees. SFSA is pleased to partner with Search Investment Group, LiveOak Bank, Lummis Consulting Services, Symphony Risk Solutions, System Six, and Steckler Wayne Cherry & Love to present this first-of-its-kind event.
The conference is crafted to educate, inspire, and equip both current and aspiring self-funded searchers to excel in their quest to identify and acquire a small or mid-sized business. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to network with self-funded searchers, lenders, service providers, operators, and other professionals in the self-funded search ecosystem to dive deep into this rapidly expanding market.
The event will feature panels and workshops covering a range of pertinent topics, including sourcing acquisition opportunities, valuation, offer structuring and submission, financial diligence, debt financing, insurance and benefits diligence, legal diligence and documentation, and equity raising, among others. Additionally, keynote speakers will shed light on critical subjects such as the state of self-funded search, post-closing operations, and self-funded search best practices. This event is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable insights and broaden your network in the self-funded search landscape.
